Just tried it in the NBA trade machine and it was successful.

Do it Petrie.

I'd do it, only to get him away from all of the nutjobs who think he should be traded. Good thing I wasn't online much for the Peja/Webber arguments...I hear those didn't go well either.

i really doubt the trade iggy for a player with a high ceiling but is definitely a bit of a project. They might trade us some of their young talent for reke, but i dont think they ditch the player who is the anchor of their team, a team that happens to be winning right now.

I don't think PHI would do this. On SAC's end, I would not do it either. I love Iggy and think he is a very good player, but if i am giving up Tyreke, i either want it to be part of a package for superstar (which is unlikely) or i want a young, comparable talent with a high ceiling coming back. As good as Iggy is, i don't want to deal Tyreke for a guy that is 7 years older, approaching 30 and in all likelihood is not going to get much better.

Yah this board is getting almost unreadable for me. I can't stand the amount of Tyreke vitriol that seems to be in every single thread. I wouldn't trade him for that reason because I think it woudl really stink to be the team that traded away a star because they couldn't figure out how to get him a decent coach or any support. Must have been how Bucs fans felt seeing Steve Young for the Niners, or how Washington fans felt seeing Webb mature for us. We seem to be headed down that path with Reke this season, however, playing him at the small forward, and jerking him around on what his role is every 4 weeks.
