Good story, but I completely disagree the opinion that Tyrke didn't look for his teammates. He set them up a number of times, and they simply missed the shot. Of course Tyreke will have to improve as a playmaker, and spending more time with his teammates and learning the system will only help that. But anyone who saw the game, even the highlights, saw Tyreke setting up his teammates more than the 2 asts would indicate.

The fans are usually the first to complain when a player is being selfish and not involving teammates. I was satisfied with his passing (note: satisfied, not elated).

Westphal answered it best. Let them put in an offense before you judge. They had 3 practices before the game. Do you really think they put in any planned sets? They told them to run pick & rolls and post ups and probably worked on a little defense.

Summer league is a time for players to show their individual skills,and not a time to judge the makeup of a team.

Well, in only a few more hours, Tyreke will have the chance to vindicate himself by handing out all sorts of assists. Or not. In any event, with each passing game we'll get a lot better idea of where things stand in that regard.
