Tyreke Evans, Jason Thompson AND your Sacramento Kings

#36
Jason Thompson has been really, really good lately. And with all the small mistakes he has been making, I feel like he'll be even better when he fixes those issues (missed open layups and whatnot). Here are his stats from the last 5 games:

20.2 ppg, 11.6 rpg, 2.4 apg, 1 spg, 1.2 bpg, 1.8 TOpg

Am I the only one who thinks he still has the potential to develop into a really, REALLY good player? Those numbers are pretty similar to Jermaine O'Neal near his prime, but with fewer blocks (and fortunately, fewer turnovers as well)

PAM what a win, respect to us. Keep this up and soon everyone will be looking out. Really want us to showdown a contender now and really announce our right to be heard.

God bless sacto

dear SPENCER HAWES:

Why do you shoot so many long range shots?

We have the guys to do that, where we need you is down in the post. Stop wandering around the 3 point arc!

Wow, what a fun and exciting game! :)

I especially love watching those two play. Westphal said JT never gets tired, and I believe it. He is a live version of the energizer bunny. Battled all night and still had enough in the tank to motion Tyreke to throw up an alley oop pass on the last play. I think his frenzied play is becoming a trademark for him. And a potentially positive one at that.

KT is a good player at times. Too many people bash on him like hes a D-league player.
KT is basically proving to us that he is not the bench cancer we thought he was. He has done an unquestionable job as a professional, going out and doing his job well when needed and not complaining.

Coaching, coaching, coaching. Westphal is earning his keep right now. I'd be happy playing after dealing with Muss, Natt, and Theus as well. He's getting PT and responding because whatever scheme Westphal put together makes sense for the players.
Maybe he doesn't use PowerPoint. Microsoft products can be buggy at times.

College Team

It's a college team. And I mean that in the nicest sense of the word. There are no agendas, no egos, no prima donnas, no selfishness. It's just guys playing as a team, playing very hard, passing the ball, digging for loose balls, helping on defense. Everything that basketball should be.

Well, we ARE a young team. There's a lot of emotion out there as well - nobody seems to be treating it like a business. It's still a game to them, as it should be.

The great thing is that even the oldsters like Thomas and Noc are playing like they are in college.

KT started doing that 2 years ago and did last year when he was given a chance but nobody seemed to notice.
