Tyreke and LeBron

tyreke doesnt go to freecreditreport.com, freecreditreport.com goes to him.

barry bonds didnt test positive for steroids, he tested positive for tyreke....

when the boogeyman goes to sleep every night he checks his closet for tyreke evans....

This was a painful thread to read until you guys got an itch in your funnybones. (Thank you for that!)

Whenever someone compares a Kings player to a big-time All Star, people jump all over them to let them know that the King's player is NOT that player and NEVER WILL BE! Duh.

On the other hand, there's also some people who are such mindless uberfans, that they can't wait to make their fav Kings player into someone they're not.

So I guess the overreaction is a reaction to the overreaction. I just can't tell if the dog is wagging its tail, or if the tail is wagging its dog.

Maybe Tyreke´s gonna be MVP one day or maybe he´s gonna be a complete bust. Time will tell, but please don´t dump him before you´ve even seen him playing for the Kings.

The Barry Bonds one was the best.
Awesome!

Right now Im leveling my expectations at a mix of Larry Hughes and John Salmons in a "Point Guard" position. Lots of dribbling, lots of slashing, lots of Free Throws, some passing. Good D.

Anything better/different and I will be 100% happy.

....he is the most interesting man in the world.

i never though about hughes.... yeah i could so see that. but that didnt work for him playing pg next to lebron.

Back to the point of the thread...

(with the assist from ElRey)

Tyreke Evans lives vicariously through himself.

Tyreke chews up nails and spits them back out as bullets. That was how he killed Chuck Norris.

I'd been thinking about Larry Hughes as a possible outcome too. But Tyreke better work on his 3s if he's going to attempt as many as Hughes.

If you look back and see only one set of footprints, that's when Tyreke Evans was carrying you.

Tyreke Evans does not own a stove, oven, or microwave , because revenge is a dish best served cold.

Tyreke Evans can slam a revolving door.

Tyreke Evans can set ants on fire with a magnifying glass. At night.

Whoop de do. A friend once asked me who I pattern my game after. I said Jason Kidd. QUICK. Someone sign me! I don't need a lot, just the midlevel exception so I can feed my family. :p

Well to be fair, Evans was a #4 overall pick, James a #1 and McGrady was in the teens. So I think Evans assessment is a bit more accurate and probable than your own comparison.

when soulja boy hops out of his bed he turns his tyreke on... yeah..... takes a look in the mirror and tyreke says whats up... i get money...

I heard an interview with Scott Howard Cooper (SI). Said the GMs he talked to liked Tyreke. If they have it's a comparison, it's Baron Davis, because like Davis, Tyreke is going to be a very physical point guard. Evans doesn't have Davis's explosiveness (in his younger years), but he is longer, and bigger. Everybody is searching for comparisons with Tyreke instead of just looking at Tyreke, but maybe Davis is the closest you're going to get.

That doesn't really disprove his argument.
But it discredits the author for not knowing what he/she is talking about.......and my point was not to discredit or refute any arguments, I just like accurate information being reported. But thanks for the effort, guy.

No it doesn't. It just means while he was writing his post he was going off the top oh his head for numbers instead of looking them up. And in the context of the point he was trying to make, whether McGrady was drafted 9th or 14th really makes no difference.
