[NBA] Trade Deadline Season 2026 Open Thread

Perry’s really not going to do anything then have a press conference with a bunch of awesome quotes and how we’re in a great position going forward with Keegan and Hunter.
He'll make reference to the "Pillars" in some way to make an excuse.
Or he comes out and states that he's going to wait to see what happens on draft day and use next season's trade deadline to initiate a "forward-looking" approach.

QWERTY's 2026 NBA Trade Deadline Winner(s) and Losers

Winner
: Collective Bargaining Agreement
Losers: Anything and Everything, and Everyone, that ain't the Collective Bargaining Agreement

Love everything the Clippers did. Getting rid of Harden is a plus in my book and if Garland stays healthy thats a great piece going forward. Selling extremely high on Zubac.
Garland and staying healthy doesn’t sound possible though

well since nothing else ... here's something interesting re: last night's movements pertaining to us. I never heard "it's all Monk's fault" because the fingers were pointed at Domas.

I swear, the fraternity of coaches is really annoying. I can totally see Kerr saying something like this and taking a "moral stand" against what Monk allegedly did to his buddy Mike Brown... all while Draymond and his competitive spirit berate him at the same time.

This team is frozen. Like when a TV breaks and the last thing on the screen stays on it .

It’s like a busted match of Tetris that keeps going with unfitting bricks piling on for eternity rather than just starting over.

They might be the most blow up proof team I’ve ever seen lol

It's really curious though. Monk re-signed with the Kings and kept his head down. It seems he and Fox had a falling out and their friendship was another casualty in all of this but when the team was struggling I don't really recall thinking wow Monk and Domas are slacking. I think wow, Keon still isn't getting enough minutes after what he showed at the end of last season. I remember thinking DeMar really isn't the best fit here, is he? And I remember thinking good lord, can Huerter ever get his game back. We all remember the penultimate play of Brown's coaching career here and it wasn't Monk or Domas that let their man go either.

But yeah, Kerr really kinda lame these days if that bit really isn't made up.
