While I love Eddie Hazel's pyrotechnics, I went with Mick and Malcolm because that duo has the same kind of cool vibe as Jagger/Richards alone on stage.

Malcolm Young's riffs define both the melody and the rhythm of the song. Here you can listen to his riffs with AC/DC looped before the vocals or guitar solos kick in and hear how his riffs feel like they make up 90 percent of the songs on their own:
