Magoofs HAD to sell it was inevitable. Just the idea of shelling out these contracts for role players is enough to make them shiver and binge drink terrible vodka. They're the only guys I have heard of who failed at gambling AND alcohol I mean cmon. They should have just stuck to being playboy trust fund kids but they wanted to pretend to be business men and it was an epic fail. Momma Magoof has got to be pissed.

They didn't fail at the 2nd. They were just dumb and sold that business to expand the casino resort. The very business their father built the family empire upon.

Seems like a failure to me considering how they let those juggernaut assets fall out of the families hands. They will never be able to afford anything like that again. The beverage distribution is the one thing you NEVER touch.

Don't make me defend the Maloof's. Before Las Vegas's economy went in the dumps and they sunk good money (beer distribution rights) after bad money (casino expansion with the tower), they spent money. After that ................. the story changed into a long nightmare.

Yes, their intent was to move. They were also incompetent in that. They fielded a team too good and couldn't move. They may have had evil intent in terms of moving but in their early years they put money into the team and put a product on the floor that made Sacramento proud. Vivek on the other hand "may" have his heart in the right place and has opened his wallet like the Maloof's did initially but the product he has fielded has yet to be anything but a joke (HOPEFULLY THAT CHANGES THIS YEAR).
Magoofs awful? Yes and then some but all time awful? No and I give you exhibit A: Donald Sterling.

this is true, any good faith those bastards had was eroded when they attempted to move the team though and the slow near death that was the final years which they put us through.
