The 'Superduperstar"

i think becaue theres only five players on a team on the court at one time, it allows for playes to shine more than in other sports where there are like 25 + players on the team, and a whole lot more than 5 players on the field at once. The game can revolve around one great player in basketball, whereas in baseball a guy like bonds still needs tons of other guys like pitchers and a guy like jerrry rice needs a defensive line and a quarterback. On the other hand Lebron James can take over in every aspect of a basketball game.

yeah, I think that's right -- combine the smaller teams with no rules about positions and whatnot (i.e. no separate offense/defense, no specialized positions like goalie) and you have the smallest teams with the most interaction on the court. One guy really can do it all.
