Kings shoot 39%, are outrebounded 50-46 and have 14 TO's. Not bad for a championship calibur team on the road against a 6-12 team.

The Kings are going to be so worn down by the playoffs with their lack of bench contribution/playing time all of this isn't going to even matter.

BTW--How's Vlade?

Hater!

Vlade is a Laker. You might want to ask that question on a Laker board.

The Kings played an ugly game in December and won. Key to that win was the production of Greg Ostertag, coming off the bench.

What is your real point? You have done nothing but dog on the team since you first posted here.

How's Vlade????

Well, he was busy getting a DNP-coaches decision while the Lakers got their collective arses kicked.......again.

Also let me point out one thing. Tag got 0 points, 4 boards and 2 HUGE BLOCKS in only 10 minutes of play........without those 2 blocks the Kings don't come back and win the game.

I liked Vlade and wished he had stayed on as Brad's back-up. (He sure was a nice guy at the basketball camp my daughter attended anyways :)

That was a positive note posted as a we will be worn out by season end???? Harumph! a humbug I say!

I'm a huge Kings fan. Just an objective one. Some people may not appreciate my honesty and that is fine. I am not trying to hate on the team, just open some things up for discussion that may be missing.

I loved seeing Webb make that shot and Bibby was amazing tonight. A bad call by the officials actually helped the Kings get some momentum and eventually win. The way they won was exciting. I had a cocktail and enjoyed a great House Party with Koz and Kara like the rest of you after the game.

I will be ready to watch the Kings take on the Lakers and quite honestly will say nothing about this game because the Kings have too much pride to let this one get away. Nothing I can say hasn't been said regarding this matchup.

Here is the deal VF21 and I say this with all due respect. You are a black and white person and you see things that way.

I always see the gray area, especially with the Kings. We will likely agree to disagree most of the time and have some fun doing so. I have my opinions of Vlade and they are good and bad.......I am 100% in support of Tag being here instead of Vlade. His departure was at the perfect time. I just wanted to know how he was because he is a great man.

Here's the deal, 2muchgame. Virtually every post you've made has been backhanded in some way, shape or form. This thread is proof of that. You can say whatever you like about being "objective," talk about your "honesty" not being appreciated, etc.

You really think you're the only person who can "open some things up for discussion that may be missing"?

I will, I suppose, learn in time if you are, in fact, a "huge Kings fan." As for now, I have my doubts. In my experience on these boards, I've found that people who make such big points about being objective, honest, etc. can turn out to be just the opposite. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

Put more simply 2muchgame, your posting pattern thus far could easily be mistaken for that of a stealth troll. You arrive just in time for a matchup with the Lakers, take swipes at the Kings at every chance, and even made the miscalculation to resort to a Vlade taunt, which may be telling.

Regardless of whether you are or are not a Kings fan, if your sole take on any situation or result is going to be "but they didn't get it done last year", that's going to grow tedious rather quickly. Its a stale and obvious point, and if it is going to dominate every analysis you make, there really is no particular point in paying attention at all until the Finals come June, when the team will either have redeemed itself or fallen short once again.

i agree that it's very concerning. i can only hope that these struggles help our team develop the mental strength required to do well come playoff time.

That was not a Vlade taunt, rather a shout out to a guy we all like as a human being. It was also a shot at those who thought our chemistry would be compromised by his departure, which it hasn't.

I will continue to call it how I see it, but one thing I have neglected to say and could be a factor in the Kings making that ultimate push does have to do with Divac. He lacks that killer instinct and the Kings in the past have taken on his personality. Perhaps without him, they will emerge as a more mentally tough team and will prove myself and others who share my views wrong when it comes to the playoffs. Then I see that Minnesota game and I am haunted by the past. I don't want to dwell on it, but don't want to ignore it either. You are right.....all that matters is the playoffs, so until then all the banter and discussion is nothing more than speculation. You may find it tedious and at this point as far as the Minnesota game, I do as well. I love talking Kings and always will.
