The Perfect Offseason would be...

We should consider Tobias Harris as a possible target this offseason. I think a sign in trade with Rudy Gay would be a smart move. We could even add a few more of our guys in like Ben and Nik and pry Mario away.
He's getting max deal offers from the Celtics and Pistons I rather Rudy on his 13 million deal.

1. Draft WCS (check)

2. Trade Nik and Ray for Morrow, Augustin, the rights for Dakari Johnson (STEAL OF THE DRAFT) and next year's Charlotte 2nd rounder and 2017 Memphis 2nd rounder.
OKC traded for Ridnour and drafted Payne at PG, and have Waiters and Roberson at SG and a lot of young guys at C besides Dakari and they need the space cause they want to resign Kanter.

3. Send Landry with Memphis's 2nd rounder to the 76ers (they are way below the cap floor anyway).

4. Sign Rodney Stuckey (in play) and Glen Robinson III (athletic SF, restricted but you can probably get him for min).

5. Bring back Casspi and Evans (depth and leadership).

PG: DC/Stuckey/Augustin
SG: Ben/Morrow (minutes of Stuckey)
SF: Rudy/Casspi/Robinson
PF: JT/WCS/Moreland (minutes of Rudy)
C: Cousins/Dakari/Evans (minutes of JT and WCS)

This roster has much more guys that can create offense and bring shooting, very good defense and I'm really high on Dakari (The Kentucky connection, 6th best player in the draft according to analytics, couldn't show what he have on the big-men packed Kentucky team) and think Robinson is an elite athlete that isn't really sure how to play baketball- but have a really high upside (fills the D-Will role).

With the most likely departure of David West to the Knicks I wonder how gettable Geroge Hill is now and where the Pacers are in terms of what they are going to do maybe a rebuild. I'd offer the Pacers a combo of JT/Nik or Ben for him. He can play easily as a SG or a PG him and Collison would be a decent back court.

Yes Hill has crossed my mind as a target, 3 and d PG. He and Collison would make for one of the more competent PG duos in the league.

I agree.

But after they chose not to pick Payne and instead drafted a big-men in Turner I'm not sure they are going to move him.

Even if the Pacers make him available I think there are a lot of teams that will try to get him, the Rockets come to mind as a team Hill will be perfect in, i don't think there is a PG more suited to play next to a ball-dominant James Harden- and Dekker looks like a Larry Bird kind of guy to me... Dallas could be high on him too after doing great with a system PG like Jameer Nelson before the Rondo trade- Hill can give them everything Nelson did in a much higher level.

I think it's unlikely he'll end up here, but if he happen to get here- you won't hear me complaining...
