A little story I'd like to share.
A co worker of mine,who loves the Kings,goes to games every chance he gets,got 2 tix. off e-bay(his usual source)for $10.00 each SRO. for sun. game against Minny.His wife decided not to go because she did'nt want to stand,so he took his daughter, he did'nt care as long as he was inside ARCO.He's in his spot with his daughter waiting for the game to start,acting like one of those crazy "KINGS fans" when a very nice gentleman approched him asked him if he was here with his daughter,my friend said yes,the guy said he was one of the "Owners"(not a Maloof) of the KINGS,handed him 2 tix. and said "these are much better seats".Turns out my buddy and his daughter are sitting ON THE FLOOR behind the photographers,between the basket and the KINGS bench.My buddy is beside himself,he's so excited ,he had to call someone,so he called me ,I could hardly hear him cuz it was so loud in ARCO,he's telling me this and i'm thinking he's full of s***,until the camera pans around and sure nuf there he is and he had one of those Texas size,s*** eating grins on his face,you woulda thought he just won the lottery. Face value of EACH tix.was $895.00.OMG!!!.This is one day in my buddys life that he will NEVER forget,brought to you by the KINGS ORGANIZATION.
I really hope we find a way to satisfy the Maloofs with a new areana,i would hate to see them leave.When i hear about things like this,it just confirms my belief that there are a lot of good people in this world,and it make me very VERY proud to be a SACRAMENTO KINGS fan.
