The Keep Mussleman Thread

Why is it then when a thread criticizing Petrie comes around everyone points out how all this talent doesn't fit together and you can't win with a team like this, but when a thread criticizing Musselman comes around people point out how talented the roster is. This team is bad. A good part of the blame goes to the players and a good part of the blame goes to Musselman.

You can not say Adelman would have done better just because of last season's hot streak. Yeah, the Kings went on an amazing streak to end the season with almost the same personnel. And you know what, so did the Warriors after they traded for Baron and they stunk up the joint the next year.

You're correct. "This team is bad." And, there are some talented players on this roster.

There are a group of players on the Kings. At this point in time, I do not see them as a TEAM. They do not act or play like a TEAM. They act and play simply as a group of players. That part is on Musselman.

i believe it's more about these players skills not meshing because they were formed together with no strategy or foresight in mind. even though i think they'd be doing better with adelman (big adelman fan here), i think their performance last year post artest trade was a fluke.

i completely agree, i think musselman has done a poor job, but this team just isn't going to cut it. there are chemistry problems with this team but it doesn't have to do with coaching or camaraderie, it has to do with skillsets not meshing.
