Yep, even conventional small ball might be done. The Suns have only run 1 true front court player so far. Everything else is big wings. Take note Monte, you've got your notice and a shot in a few weeks to add what you need.

I guess Monte's gambit of filling the roster with a half dozen two guards might finally pay-off!
 
Giannis desperately trying to rally the troops. Middleton and Holiday were probably asleep in the background.

We're joking about it but even a slightly more competent offensive coach like Alvin Gentry could probably figure out a way to at least make it work in the league as it is now.
 
These possessions are where the Bucks miss DDV the most. Middleton's a solid defender but being able to stick Jrue and DiVincenzo on the other team's two best perimeter players is what made the Bucks an elite defensive team.

I don't mind them giving in to one of the main trends of today, 3 point shooting, because there really isn't any avoiding it, but at the end of the day they need to consider if they have the roster to truly excel at it to the point where you can get a ring out of it. If they don't come out of this season with ultimate victory when injuries have fallen in their favor in the end, that's a tough, tough pill.
 
Really not sure how Jeff Teague is still in the league, let alone playing rotation minutes in the NBA finals.
 
I mean, Craig was still moving. Probably wouldn't have been an offensive foul if he hadn't gotten hurt.

Get within 5, body can’t take any more, hand the keys to Holiday who promptly drives the momentum off a cliff.
 
The Bucks showing why you can't play drop coverage and expect to win many games in the modern NBA. All you can pretty much do now is switch on that pick and hope for the best.

You can hedge !? But Bud is an absolute fool that likes giving up 3’s that’s literally his defensive philosophy
 
This uber small ball bulk lineup for the Bucks might be the way to go as a trick lineup. I don't know why the Suns don't just zone way off of Giannis though.
 
I’m so disappointed for Giannis rn. What a major letdown from every other scrub on that roster.
