The Everything Jimmer thread

I don't post a whole bunch but I watch the games and Jimmer looks legit on offense. He seems to draw a bunch of attention when he has the ball, is a good passer, and is lights out when he gets hot shooting the ball. He's an above average offensive player already in this league imo.

Defensively is obviously the issue... given time I think both sides of his game will improve and he'll be a legit starter in this league when it's all said and done.

I agree with the posts on this page. Jimmer played against MWC opponents, and was never a true PG. That alone takes time to adjust to with the speed and complexity of the NBA. Besides his obvious defensive weaknesses, his main problems are all mental. Sometimes he thinks too much and gets lost on offense. He is self-conscious. He is his own worst enemy. I like the analogy about S Nash. Jimmer has pretty good physical skills. He has to make better decisions and make them faster.

It took Steve Nash a while to get MVPs. Some of you guys only give Jimmer 33 games? Pg and the C are the hardest positions to play and develop in the NBA. Wow c'mon he has Thorton and Tyreke in front of him and IT.. Give the kid some slack. Can't we judge him in 2 years?
