i agree with the above...stupid thread...unlike kingsguy881, i became a fan after the jordan era ended in chicago (i literally grew up watching basketball in the jordan/bulls era, so i think i have a valid argument there), so i guess i was not a huge part of the kings years prior, but i still went to the games as i lived in the sacramento area back then, and i too remember watching the games when we had the likes of mitch richmond, corliss williamson, etc. They were painful to watch, very painful. Hell, the kings won a whopping one game out of numerous games i attended back then. I still wanted to see them win, as they were my hometown team and i pretty much knew that after jordan left the bulls, i'd have to become a die-hard kings fan. I enjoyed the glory years as much as any kings fan on this forum. Have i been enjoying the past handful of seasons (post adelman)? Hell no. But i ain't giving up. I bleed purple and black all day...

This team must turn it around next year. They just simply must do it!!!!
No, they must not turn it around next year. They can turn it around, and that would be awesome, but to come out and say it has to happen, and make it sound like a legitimate threat to the team, is ludicrous. hell, this team can suck for the next 50 years and i will still be a fan.
