Been a fan since 2000. So experienced all the glory years and all that came after.
It's been 6 years already - 6 years of losing, linnin, tanking and overall being a laughing stock of the nba. And I grew completely tired and sick in the stomach of it. The losing thing GOTTA stop!

THIS TEAM MUST TURN IT AROUND NEXT YEAR. THEY JUST SIMPLY MUST DO IT!!!!

Stupid thread. Really? I have been a fan of the Kings since they moved here. YOU know NOTHING about losing bro. Quit being a baby.

I agree with the above...stupid thread...unlike Kingsguy881, I became a fan after the Jordan era ended in Chicago (I literally grew up watching basketball in the Jordan/Bulls era, so I think I have a valid argument there), so I guess I was not a huge part of the Kings years prior, but I still went to the games as I lived in the Sacramento area back then, and I too remember watching the games when we had the likes of Mitch Richmond, Corliss Williamson, etc. They were painful to watch, very painful. Hell, the Kings won a whopping one game out of numerous games I attended back then. I still wanted to see them win, as they were my hometown team and I pretty much knew that after Jordan left the Bulls, I'd have to become a die-hard Kings fan. I enjoyed the glory years as much as any Kings fan on this forum. Have I been enjoying the past handful of seasons (Post Adelman)? Hell No. But I ain't giving up. I bleed Purple and Black all day...

No, they must not turn it around next year. They can turn it around, and that would be awesome, but to come out and say it has to happen, and make it sound like a legitimate threat to the team, is ludicrous. Hell, this team can suck for the next 50 years and I will still be a fan.

I'm not going to get into this " My pain is worse than your pain" stuff. Needless to say, we're all frustrated with the way things are going. And I think part of it has to do with this arena thing dragging on and on. Even after we thought it was a done deal. Its easy to jump to the conclusion, that if the owners truely don't want to be here, then why would they try and put an attractive package on the flloor. If the owners are truely out of money, then how could they put a good team on the floor even is they wanted to.

In other words, its easy to say that there's no light at the end of the tunnel. We seem to have owners that have surpassed even Donald Sterling in bad PR. And he's a man that is very accomplished at snatching failure from the jaws of victory. So my advice is, instead of comtemplating sucide, go grab a cervesa from the fridge, sit down and look at the ocean. And while looking at the ocean, remember that out there in that great unknown, there are perhaps billions of people who don't even know who the Kings are. So really, just how important can they be? Also, I think you'll find that the more cervesa's you drink, the less painful this whole experience is. Or at least you won't care,
