I have PTSD from tap outs (2002 WCF)That was a sensational pair of tap outs. He might be one of the better guys in the league at that
Keegan’s usually look very targeted though.I have PTSD from tap outs (2002 WCF)
Best rebounder you have another person in team. Anyway, Keegan really improved on rebounding and boxing out.
Keegan’s sudden emergence as a capable rebounder about halfway into his rookie season was pretty cool to see happen. A bunch of us were complaining, he was getting outrebounded by guards of his class, I think he got gently called out by coaches and BOOM. The switch went off and he just became a good rebounder basically overnight.
Curious if batting the ball out counts as a rebound or not? For that matter is it also an assist?
What if you tap it out and your teammate who catches it immediately launch a 3 that goes in?if you tap it out to a teammate it’s a rebound for the tapper. It is not an assist. I looked it up earlier today because I wasn’t sure either.

I’m not 100 percent sure but from what I can tell the tap is considered a rebound, not a pass, so no assist awarded.
Once a player taps a ball to a teammate it doesn’t become a rebound until that teammate takes possession of the ball. So it makes sense that no assist is given.
What is it if you tap it out to Robert Horry, who hits a game winning 3 that still hurts to this day?

It will be interesting to see how Keegan responds to life without Fox. He was essentially a big brother to him. How does he feel about the kings, does he blame them for this or is he hurt by Fox wanting to leave? Last night was a good game for him. He was super aggressive and even took tough threes which he almost never does. He plays the right way so much that sometimes he forgets he’s 6’8, strong and athletic.
Keegan is 4 years away from being where we were with Fox so I am not sure it matters. I am not sure but I think he might be happier with Brown gone. His dad doesn't post as much on twitter as he did before but I do recall him replying to some of the fans that have turned on Keegan by pointing out that he was doing what the coach was asking and it was a lot of stuff that doesn't appear in the box score. It will be interesting to see how Keegan responds to life without Fox.
