Last season I posted random excerpts from The Art of War, as generated by a gadget at Google. I decided to resurrect the thread again, as today's quote seemed particularly apt:

[h=1]IV.TACTICAL DISPOSITIONS[/h]16.The consummate leader cultivates the moral law, and strictly adheres to method and discipline; thus it is in his power to control success.

And a second one:

XI.THE NINE SITUATIONS

57.Confront your soldiers with the deed itself; never let them know your design. When the outlook is bright, bring it before their eyes; but tell them nothing when the situation is gloomy.

I had to share this random quote from The Art of War:

VIII. VARIATION IN TACTICS

3. There are roads which must not be followed, armies which must be not attacked, towns which must not be besieged, positions which must not be contested, commands of the sovereign which must not be obeyed.

---------------------------

Certainly sounds like something Seattle should have taken into consideration before attempting to steal the Kings from Sacramento. :)

why make this thread if hes only going to post 1 post? i dont get this thread
The point of this thread, whatever it is, is not to find things for you to post in your video gaming. And SHE is not going to start hunting down quotes for you. I gave you a link to do some research on your own if you decide to actually read a bit of it on your own.
