The Amundson...mundson Thread

WOW anyone here that thinks Amundson is a keeper is out of there mind... get over the past where we would take any person with a pulse over the bad half awake no try def. we went through... look WE got a stopper in Artest now... and the team as a whole is working harder than ever, as far as the hustle and energy goes...

so what would we do with a guy that just has energy??? he can only stay with SF's, PF's, and Centers... but cant defend them... he looks big but really isnt compared to the main PF's on playoff teams... and no way could he defend a center... unless it Maurice Taylor (wow theres another problem)

Amundson had lots of blocks and reb's in college but will never be able to push people around again like he did in college... NBA size is much bigger and taller... Bynum backed him down 3ft. on one dribble and scored...that is as soft as can be... Bynum might be 7ft. tall but he isnt that big... plus amundson is quick but not fast... Odom blew by him and went baseline for a basket pretty easy...

the kings need reb.s and shot blocking two things this guy will never be able to provide on an NBA level... and he also has no offense... even musselman said he wont have the ball in his hands... so really... energy??? ... sweet energy! ! !??? Again the kings should be looking at every 6"10 - 7+foot shot blocker thats not signed...even trading for guys that have been kinda busts like what dallas did for DeSagana Diop... how did that pan out???... not an ulgy clone of Mark Madsen...

one thing i really like about dallas is that they have stacked up on big BIG men... can you ever have to many of those??? plus at the rate of Big men busts theyre assured to find one or two good ones... but we could stock up on guards and energy guys i guess???

my "hatred" is at the Kings for signing this fool for 2 years and not trading for or even looking at any 6'10-7ft shot blockers.... i dont hate Amundson... hes just not and NBA player as of yet nor with he ever be actually but really thats not the point the point is the kings should be or should have used every bit of offseason to add the one and only missing element to this team ... A FOR REAL shot blocker... Amundson blocked a few shots in the summer league??? great well was he the shot block leader for the summer league??? and can anyone even name offhand the names of the last two summer league shot block leaders??? no??? cause who cares about that crap... its just to earn a spot at training camp... or stay in shape...

his size is below avg. for PF unless your Kenny Thomas... and hes soft at hold'n his ground against the BIGS... and even though his kinda quick his first step isnt good and hes not fast... WE NEED TO MAKE A TRADE FOR A SHOT BLOCKER ! ! !

I actually dont think this guy is that bad, but dont see him getting that much playing time since he still needs to work on his game. This is the preseason so he will be playing more, but he wont see much in the regular season. Just give him some time, and btw I dont think these kind of threads are allowed so expect it to be locked?
