They obviously would’ve been better off staying at #3 and taking Jayson Tatum, but the other pick Philly gave up turns out to be not that valuable as the vaunted “Sacramento pick” turned into the last pick of the lottery in 2019, Romeo Langford. As for Fultz? He was a generational prospect at point guard, a three-level scorer that looked like the full package and the exact sort of handler with size who would’ve fit Philadelphia perfectly.
