Meh, the more I think about Porter, the less excited I get to choose him over anyone else. I think Porter, Brooks, or Rambis would all do about the same short-term. If we're looking long-term, well, things get a little different. That's where a guy like van Gundy may have been top pick. But there's no saying- at all- how any of these guys would do.

And admit it, you guys- how sweet would it be if a Laker fan favorite coached us in a long and successful tenure?

It'd be better if a non-laker fan favorite coached us in a long successful tenure.

I just think he would do a good job here, he did a really good job for the bucks. they just had injuries. as for pistons its more flips fault than terry.

I agree and what's wrong going reaching back into the Adelman era to find a replacement coach? I mean that's when we saw the greatest success as a franchise. I want Porter.

Atleast interview him. and atleast he has head coached in the last 3 years
