Not sure this means a lot, they already extended Joerger for next year and now are just securing his assistants?

Good point.

The Kings should be offering an extension this summer or Joeger will go into next season on the final year of his contract.

If we finish this year strong, as I expect, I would hope the team and Joeger to be working on an extension this summer.

Grant pretty much confirmed this last week when somebody called about it. He gave the standard “It doesn’t matter right now” and “I don’t have a crystal ball” stuff but then pretty much said to “stay tuned” in a way that suggested it would be resolved soon

I like this and I think they've earned it. They are winning and developing young talent. While they have a ways to go the progress has been impressive.
