And, you obviously don't remember CW before the injury.
During that 6 game win streak, Webb was the Webb I remember minus some athleticism plus smarts and shooting touch.

My apology for refering to CW as CV, but other then that, I've given you my view of Kings this year.
And who can tell me that CW is as half good as before the injury. Also, who can tell me there is chemistry on this team. And Peja, up in his head he is gone (I live in TO, and I watched his interview, since I understand Serbian).
Only hardcore fan (which most of you guys here are) would neglect above stated.
I loved to watch Sac in the last 3-4 years, but right now they are just good team playing boring basketball, nothing more.
All I wanted to do is to give you view on this team by the NBA fan not emotionaly tied to Sac.
I know that real fans will allways stick with the team, but don't expect much this year guys.

I am just as emotionaly tied to Sac (as a city) as you are. I am also just as tied to Peja as you are (because of my nationality). What you are saying is a biased statement that should make as feel sorry for Peja and criticize Webber for a diminshed performance (which if true is because of the injuries he sustained as a Kings player which justifies alot).

It is you who probably saw few nationaly broadcasted games because you make a statement that the team is boring to watch. I have watched every single game so far and trust me they are not boring (except selected few).

Sure these are not the kings of few years ago, but they are still able to be a contender. And if I chose to believe that, more power to me. Otherwise I would consider myself a fair weathered fan.

My 2 cents (I guess that would be 3.5 cents in Canada :) )

Not necessarily, KP. bball's comments aren't truly outrageous or insulting, you can see how someone might legitimately think that. Since you disagree, the simple explanation you gave was fine, in my opinion. If you just worry about the facts and opinions and not the posters the rest will take care of itself. ;)

Vj9999, you probably heard for satelitte. You (i mean, I) can watch every game anywhere you (I am) are.
My post is based on CW and Peja, because they are all-stars, and they both don't play at all-star level (whatever you say with the stats/numbers).
Believe me, I watched 95% of Sacs games (because they are ON late for the TO time).
You just keep believing, but in my original post, I suggested to do the trade for Peja, cause he is gone.
And personaly, I am not Peja's fan at all. I think Vlade made him a star in this league, and Vlade and Doug meant more for the Sac chemistry than Peja.

Maybe I'm just being a homer for Webb, but I really can't see how someone whose watched Webber every game could "legitimately" think that... Hes been on fire lately, and 1st post today?? It smells kinda hairy...

Sorry KP for the first post. I will not be posting/responding again. You guys keep listening to the same tunes, you will do just fine.
Good luck

I am sorry to rain on Kings, but after reading all the posts in this thread I've gotta tell you this:

Before an injury, CV was top forward in the league, but ever since he is not/nor will ever be the half of a player he used to be. It is sad to see him limping on the floor. He distrupted the chemistry of the team last year by his return from IL. I remember when Hedo, Vlade, Doug were here that chemistry on the court and on the bench was amazing, and the Kings game reflected that. Now, there is nothing going on, and, chemistry you do not build; it is there or not. That is why I do not understand CV: "I don't remember when I had so much fun around here"????
How about, before your injury CV (because he couldn't enjoy great time for the time while injured/not playing).
Second, Peja is not happy in Sactown anymore. he gave an interview on Toronto TV(serbian tv), and he still looks to be traded because the team has had its peak, and it is time to move on. Plus, CV commenting on Peja (last summer) killed his desire to play with CV. His lack of desire keeps him playing bellow his potential. and I don't think he worked out last summer.
Bystander, like myself, can easily tell you guys that Sacramento can't play against top teams in the NBA today. It can hurt you (you might call me the names), but that is the truth.
Maloof's should do the trade and start rebuilding the team. This team will never rebuild the chemistry needed to go over the top.

Have a nice day
BBall

I do not know where to start...

CV? Do you by any remote chance mean Webber?

I'm simply going to make one comment. If you're in Toronto, you don't get to see the game. Your comment "It is sad to see him limping down the floor" exposes your whole posting as nothing more than anti-Webber rhetoric based on the apparent theory that you have to tear Webber down to build Pedja up.

It's a crock. If Pedja can't give his best because he thinks the team has peaked and he wants out, I'll help him pack. That's one of the most selfish attitudes a professional athlete can have and if Pedja does have it, I hope the door doesn't hit him in the posterior on his way out.

I am so tired of Pedja fans coming to this board and acting like it's all about Pedja first and the Kings second. That's not the way it goes. He's got a very lucrative contract to work for the Sacramento Kings. He's a part of the team. He's not bigger than the team. He is only a part of it.

I actually feel sorry for you because if your hero is so shallow that he can only give his all for a championship team, he AND you are doomed to a life of disappointment.

Hey if it was just your opinion don't let me chase you away, I like heated discussions on here. Your opinion is just as valid as mine and I think it's good that you posted it. Nothing too serious... I just think Webb is one of the few thats actually living up to the expectations I had (unfortunately)...thats all. The Kings are def gonna have to come together more and reach another level if they are gonna challenge for the Title this year.. I just believe the best is yet to come. Keep posting.

@VF21: I agree bball's comment is 100% pro-peja comment and it has nothing to do with kings......however, you also have tendency to post topics dedicated to Webber especially when we win and sometimes you look like his PR officer…..btw I believe in this team and on Thursday they will beat Spurs by 10…..they are not unbeatable

It's all good. I appreciate your opinion.

I've heared of satellite before (and have a little dish farm on my roof). I know that there is no equivalent of teh League Pass on canadian providers(at least not yet). Sure there is a gray market so people can subscribe to Dish Network in Canada, just like people here can subscribe to Bell's ExpressVu through a broker.

I am also watching Pink Plus/Extra, BKTV through Globecast and last year I watched RTS until they went of air, but I am getting off topic.

My point is that if Peja wants to leave, too bad. HE has a contract and it is up to GP to figure out what's the best way to handle the situtation. Peja did the right thing by keeping his mouth shut since the season started. He is a Kings player and he is expected to play to his full potential and honor his contract (unless he's trying to pull T-Mac or VC on us). I honestly beleive that Peja is much better than his "fans" make him out to be. Everybody who comes here and trashes CWebb and praises Pejas comes here with an agenda and is rally hurting Peja's image.

We are blowing everything out of proportion and we just need to let Peja "shut up and play" (trademark by VF21 :) )

starks. In VF21's defense, she will post a praise Peja thread after an exceptional performance as well. CWebb is getting so much heat from our own fans that we need a pro Webb thread every once in a while to keep in check who led the team to visctory that night.

I may post threads about Webber but I NEVER praise him at the expense of another member of the team. BIG DIFFERENCE.

I'm not the only one who can start threads around here. If you or anyone else would like to start a thread about a particular player, why not do it instead of berating me for starting one about the ONE player on the team who has been the recipient of more hostility and negative comments than anyone else in the history of this franchise?

I have been a fan of the kings since 1985. Anyone who has been on this board for any amount of time will tell you that I love the team. Why shouldn't I post a thread in praise of Webber? There were certainly enough of them criticizing him in the off-season.
