If you spent last Thursday waiting on news of deals that impacted the playoff races, you mostly heard crickets. But the Bulls did make a move that will have postseason implications, Dave Del Grande says.

Okay, wait...

2. Bulls. Already rising with a bullet, they stamped themselves as the team to avoid in the first round of the playoffs with the acquisition of tough-minded center Brad Miller. Another ex-King -- John Salmons -- could help, too.

Tough-minded center Brad Miller? Um, what???

I liked Brad as much as the next guy but tough-minded? Have they not seen Mr. Bitter Beer Face? TOUGH-MINDED????

I wish Brad all the luck in the world but I hope he doesn't try too hard to live up to that hype. He might hurt himself...

:)

I just checked the Bulls win over the Magic today and I think they do have a quality roster worthy of at least a second round in the playoffs. The four guys of their bench (Brad, John, Hinrich, and Tim Thomas) can easily become a starting lineup for any mediocre team.
