For those who read only the SacBee online site, and not the printed version, the printed Sunday Sports page contained some WNBA-related material that the online site didn't include.
Here are some tidbits from last Sunday:
FAMILIAR FACES:
Edna Campbell, Lady Grooms, FeiFei Sui, and Ruthie Bolton were among the former Monarchs who attended Saturday's game. Ron Artest sat courtside with his kids, taking his daughter onto the court to dance before the Monarchs' introduction.
NUMBERS GAME:
The season opener officialy was sold out at 17,317, but only an estimated 11,000 attended.
There's more I could add, but it's getting late now (nearly 1:00 a.m.!)
