So much for exposure...

It seems many fans missed out on a lot of the game standing in line for beer. Some people waited over a half hour for brew. So much for people getting a first look at the young kings.

If they stood in line, it was only during the first half. And it was the second half that truly showed the revival of Arco Thunder. I think it was a good campaign and a great way to get folks out to Arco to see the Kings. And all the feedback I've heard has been pretty positive, even from the people who stood in line.

I totally agree. I saw a line for beer that wrapped almost around the arena. I enjoyed the game a lot. The Kings are a young exciting team and I see great promise for them in the future. picture on the way VF21:)

I got inside at about 7:10 and saw a gynormous line. I walked around to where my section was and saw the other beer line which did not seem to be as long. So me and the other 6 in my group decided to stand in line. By the time we got the beer and got to our seats I missed about 3 minutes actual game time. Lucky for me I had a couple friends that dont drink so they bought beer for us too while in that line. I essentially got a six pack of beer for standing in line once. It was great, and no we were not rowdy annoying drunks or anything like that, and we also had DDs. Great fun, great game!

That place was rockin in the 4th quarter, thats all that matters.

Last night was absolutely huge for this team. I guarantee theres a handful of new Kings fans after last night. How can you not love how hard this team plays. No prima donnas, no cry babies, and no quitters.

Good game by the Kings! Glad they pulled the game out at the end. I was wondering, were all the cashiers open at the free beer concessions? I figured that the Maloofs would try to get away with less cashiers causing long lines and most people only going thru the line once. Still brought people to the game! Clever, and I bet they broke even on the booze. So you wait in a huge line and watch the game on the tiny tv's they have or you forgo the beer and watch a great game live. I would have skipped the beer, which is probably what most did. So all those MADD complainers, please settle down. I am willing to bet that LESS beer was consumed or about the same all things considered.

To my knowledge, there haven't been any MADD complainers post-game, just a precautionary concern voiced before the event.

I never thought Dollar Beer night would be such a big deal. I mean, if you really want cheap beer go to Costco and buy a case and it will be less than a buck each.
