Does that mean A-Rod is more likely to opt out next season?...
And if so, what are the chances the Giants go after him???
I cannot be the only one who would savor the exquisite irony of the situation were A-Rod to come to SF and pursue the home run record...
I'll make a vow right here and now. If the Giants sign A-Rod, I will dig out my old Willie Mays #24 jersey and become a Giants fan again.

Um, where did the Giants get this "big money" from? Wasn't that the reason they had to ditch Bonds (besides the obvious 5,000 other reasons) because they had too much of their salary devoted to his slot?
With the money they overpaid Zito and would have to overpay A-Rod, I don't see them having enough money to fix the other holes they have to plug to get better.
Not that I care since they far exceed the Yankees as the team I despise with every fiber of my being. Replacing Bonds with Pay-Rod will keep hate alive. But I'm curious how they would be able to fit that salary in. I'm sure they want him, I just don't see how the economics fit.
I'll buy #25 and send it to you then...![]()
Save me some time and yourself some money. Just send me a pile of ashes...

Yeah, I think I might save some time. Also, I'm thinking to buy you special glasses to wear to the AT&T, with left glass replaced with a patch. Just in case....![]()
Oh, I wouldn't actually go to any games. That's way too much of a drive from here.
My brain must not be functioning tonight. What does the last part mean?
