So Bonzi's condition?

I know, I haven't found any info either.

I have also noticed that they haven't shown him on camera like usual, unless I missed it. Something ain't right here.

he was in a tan suit and walked off the court with the team after the final buzzer. That was the only time I saw him on camera though.

We probably will not see him again till after the All Star game that or if he is traded before the 2/23 deadline. I like him and wish he could get back soon. I also hope we can sign him to a few year deal.

you guys are kidding me, its more than strategic to place bonzi on the IL or just simply not play him. trade him healthy is one reason, or to let him rest for a playoff push is another. Bonzi proved he is playing to win already, its a living thing this team. A deal with New York would be tough but fun, and they are trigger happy so why not enable their fix. Jerome James, and David Lee, maybe Nate and Penny and they get Bonzi and two other servicable fowards I E Corliss and Skinner. Thats one starter for no starters, i would pull that. Anyways, New york is hitting the presses hard today and its true any deal with NY would benifit us greatly.

Before he got hurt Bonzi was one of the few bright spots for the Kings this season so its amazed me that once Martin came on everyone thinks he is expendable. He is still a major talent and we ought to try to keep him. The injury may even make him more affordable. If we can't keep him I'd rather see us work a sign and trade in the offseason after we've seen how he plays with Artest. I don't think we need to worry about a Mobley situation with Bonzi.

Uh, no? lol

I love Nate and like Lee, but absolutely not for Bonzi.

If we traded Bonzi Wells for Nate Robinson AND David Lee, that would be the steal of the century.

David Lee is really talented player...being underutilized by Larry Brown.

Geoff Petrie would do that deal in a heartbeat. They covet Nate Robinson because they envision him as a young Bobby Jackson, more skilled at the same age.

In fact, I would be tempted to trade Bonzi Wells straight up for Nate Robinson.

Bonzi keep pulling his groin because of a new exercise the Kings trainers are performing on him to make him 6'10. Bonzi would be a perfect PF if he was 4 or 5 inches taller. He can post up and rebound now imagine 20 or 30 more pounds and 5 more inches.

BTW i haven't heard anything on Ref after he left the game last night and i wasn't online so if it was said i didn't see it so some info would be appreciated. Thanks

Sure it would, but that wasn't the deal proposed. Which is what I replied to, not just Nate/Lee. The deal put out by sameolzeal. But, as the Knicks have made clear, they aren't trading any of their rookie trio. If they were, David Lee would be in Portland or Nate would be somewhere or Frye would be in Portland or Indiana (if you've followed the Knicks trade discussions) ;). Also, I ultimately don't see Bonzi being dealt.

I know about David Lee.

I'm kinda with you on Bonzi/Nate. ;)

who knows?
can't find any news

Bonzi says this morning on "The Rise Guys" that he has two target dates of after the All Star Break and if not definately March 1st as a return. He wants to make sure that he is absolutely 100 percent. He admits that he rushed himself back, because he really wanted to play.

In my opinion as much as I love what Bonzi brings, 2006-07 the "2" belongs to Kevin Martin. I think Bonzi will definately be significant and absolutely critical in a late playoff push, but because of his free agent status and the amount of money he makes, I can not see him being back next year. I would love to have him coming off the bench, but not for 8-10 million per year.
