This exact trade was rumored in the press to have been under discussion in mid-November. Somewhat unofficial Amick implication was that we passed on the deal due to the size of Okafor's contract.

But yeah, I for one was vocally in favor of making that move.

I highly doubt we were the ones who passed on the deal with reports later coming out of K9 for Dalambert. It seems like we were offering K9 for a defensive big man and seeing if any teams would bite
