Simmons, Mitchell and Doncic headline Rising Stars rosters

The rosters for the Rising Stars Challenge are set, with Ben Simmons, Donovan Mitchell and Luka Doncic leading the way. On Tuesday, the NBA released a list of 20 players chosen to represent their countries and teams in the contest, where Team USA will face Team World. Team USA are headlined by Utah Jazz star Mitchell, the Los Angeles Lakers' Kyle Kuzma and Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum.

This year's NBA Rising Stars game won't lack for star power, as top Rookie of the Year candidates of last season (Ben Simmons, Donovan Mitchell) and this season (Luka Doncic, Trae Young) will headline the game, the NBA announced on Tuesday. This will be the fifth year of the league's current U.S. vs. World format, where the top rookies and sophomores make up the 10-player rosters. The World is currently 3-1, most recently winning 155-124 with Bogdan Bogdanovic (who is playing this year) winning MVP honors.
