Should the Kings trade Artest and go after Gerald Wallace?

I am thinking trade Artest and try to sign Gerald Wallace. I am pretty sure the Bobcats are going to let him go since they have J Rich now.

Your basic premise is flawed I'm afraid.

JRich is an OG, Wallace is a SF, together they are going to be a dynamite duo for the Bobcats. They certainly aren't going to let Gerald go now, not that they ever would.

If he WAS on the market, yeah I would cheerfully swap Artest for him, but its never that easy, and I think it highly unlikely he would want to come back here anyway.

Yes the Kings should (had better) trade Artest, but I don't believe the team is far enough under the cap to pay Wallace, assuming he'd even want to come back.

I don't see it. They're really going to glue Adam Morrison to the bench for the next four years? Not that Morrison is great or anything, but unless you're Larry Brown or an idiot, you let your #3 pick play.

Or unless you;ve seen that morrison cannot play as well as eithe ro fhte oether guys. So yes, you are going to gleu him on the bench, or preferebaly even trade him. He's likely a complete bust and looked awful last year. If he pans out, then 6th man. But you aren't going to break up an outstanding, young, OG/SF duo for a skinny sub 40% shooting, non-defending tweener with no NBA position.

Yes they will Glue Morrison to the Bench and he will like it. I doubt that Char is dumb enough to let one of the best all around players in the NBA who is improving on Off each and every year, for a guy who could only score. Any why Wallace is treated like God in Char, there is noway he leaves. Morrison is going to be traded.

He looked horrible - I'll give you that, and I'd certainly rather have Gerald Wallace than Morrison, but I don't see giving up on him completely after one season. People still thought Kwame Brown could play four years after he was originally drafted. Morrison's first season shooting percentages were actually pretty similar to Peja's.

But do you really believe that Char will give up Wallace because they have Morrison?????

No, I just don't see where all three are going to play, and Wallace is in line for something like a $50 million deal. Re-signing Wallace effectively means giving up on Morrison, and I didn't think they'd throw in the towel so quickly.

Here is a question, would you give up Kevin Martin so that Douby would start?

Where the players get picked is pretty irrelevant once they step out on the court. Letting Wallace go just to replace him with Morrison would possibly be the dumbest move that Charlotte could make.

PF: Felton
SG: Richardson
SF: Wallace
PF: Okafor
C: Brezec

is a MUCH better team than the one without Wallace and with Morrison in his place.
