It's not up to Shaq to say where he's going to play...he has a contract with the Miami Heat. THEY are not going to trade him AND virtually no other team could actually absorb his contract.

Shaq has moved on...and is doing pretty well for himself in his new home. He would not leave.

He's gauging market value. LA can offer him everything he wants in terms of salary and final say on personnel decisions (as well as convenience in his personal life). The final say part is huge to him. Jerry West is gone because of him. He was allowed by Buss to nix separate trades that Logo was pursuing for McGrady and Baron. If Jacko hasn't signed within 1-5 weeks so LA can proceed with the draft and trades, it probably means that some other team has offered him a juicy owner percentage.
