Sergio Rodriguez

Aenadin

Starter
Portland needs a PG that much i know if they draft a good PG how about we trade Quincy Douby and one of our second rounders for him

or we sign and trade Beno for SerRod and a filler :P im just saying (wish ful thinking too :P)

well who else can we trade so we can get ser Rod and is he good enough to be a starter? ive seen him play and he looks awesome handling the ball :P

Portland has a ton of chances in the 2nd round to get a nice PG prospect. Chalmers, Lawson, Dragic, Ponkrashov, Weaver, J. Gordon, Hudson, Singletary... There are quite a few eh? Why would they want Douby?

lol that made me think too their gm is not isiah so he wouldnt do that.... well i sure hope we use the 2nd rounders for PG prospects and the first rounder for Big men...

they have jarret Jack, Sergio Rodriguez, Taurean Green, Brandon Roy (i think he can play point and switch Martel Webster to SG) they have a lot of guards... they need to let go of at least one...

I don't understand all the hype about Rodriguez. I haven't seen him play much, but from what I've heard, he sounds just like Jason Williams to me, and I wouldn't want to see him on the Kings again

I think he deserves a shot. If the price is low, he would be a nice addition, but I don't see Portland trading him for Douby or for more 2nd rounds.

Jump shot and defense can be taught... before parker cant the mid range to save his life now he can make them off screens and consistently

i say we give this guy a shot... BB IQ and instincts are hard to come by... hes good with handles and pretty good 1n1.... if we can trade artest for travis outlaw packaged with him then why not...outlaw's got athlethic abilities....

SAC needs to rebuild...POR needs a vet to guide them

By the way, Parker isn't the best defensive player in the league either. I would love to have Outlaw, but only if we involved Artest or Salmons in the deal. I have no idea why they would trade Outlaw. He looks to be like a peice of their puzzle for the future.

In defense of J. Will. Like him or not, he helped to put the Kings and Sacramento on the map. He was almost a nightly occurrence on the ESPN highlite reel, and certainly provided a lot of intertainment for us.

why wouldnt they trade him? they get defense and leadership from artest :P
like

Portland trades
Travis outlaw
Sergio Rodriguez

for

Sacramento's
John Salmons
future 2nd round pick

or
Artest
future 2nd round pick

Portland definitely says no to #1. #2....maybe. It depends on if Portland feel as though they're ready to contend now, as opposed to a few years down the road. I don't see this deal happening, but it could be possible. I'd be all for it
