What a nail-biting game at the end. But, the good guys pulled it out when they needed to do so.

Great job ladies!!! Kudos out to Ticha, Aqua, and Sholanda for an outstanding job on defense against Sue Bird--you really shut down her shooting, and it was key to this win!

Also, props to the fans in Section 103 and their "fantastic" signs. a personal favorite was the "short chix for Aqua" banner. I'm proud to be part of this great section of decade+ loyal fans :)

Most of all, just a tremendous feeling to be play-off bound again for a WNBA record six straight seasons. Truly a remarkable achievement considering our playoff success has kept us out of the draft lottery, and STILL WE WIN!!! :)

So many naysayers around the league not only preseason, but all season long, who said we would finish last, and NEVER make the playoffs. Don't they know by now that we have a GREAT development program here, that we play tremendous defense, and that in the dictionary under the word "team" it says: see the Monarchs. I am so proud of this team--possibly more so than any other season of Monarchs' basketball. Adversity, injury, and a young team could not hold this group back--in fact all of those things just made them stronger and more determined.

Nowwwww--let's finish off with wins in Houston and especially San Antonio, shall we? :)

Congratulations Monarchs and all the fans. What a game! And I swear the thunder was brought in full force tonight.

Keep the ride going....:)

Those sign folks in 103 are fabulous and that all the signs were out tonight was wonderful! My personal favorites have been "Swiss Families for Robinson" and "Apple Lovers for Newton" those were hella clever....others striking my fancy were "Old Timers for Ticha" and the aforementioned Aqua sign. The one that appeared to be new was Sitters for Walker...but they're all great. :D

Agreed about the signs. I also loved the "Short Chix For Aqua" one.

Now if someone had made a sign that said "Old-Timers For Yo"... :p

Yeah, I saw those signs as well. Who is cordinating that effort. What an outstanding display of fanship.

Last night was the best home game of the season, HANDS DOWN!!! I absolutely love my games tight. Props to the entire Monarchs organization for accomplishing something that nobody in the national WNBA community thought was possible. A post season birth in the tough, tough arse Western Conference.

If I can be transparent, I don't even know myself how this happened.;) You can not pin point one single thing or player to determine how "this" team with three rookies, the lost of their Hall of Famer (who by the way was brilliant last night 16, 7, 5, 5 and played the high low game like the pro she was), injuries to DeMya, Rebekkah, Ticha are in this position. Nothing but heart, guts, determination, passion and every other intangible imagined. But and this is a big but, I would like to give a ton of credit to Coach Jenny. She has done an outstanding job of getting this team where they are. I have been critical of a lot of what Jenny does. But she has this team prepared to play every night and her intensity and focus is impecable.

JOB WELL DONE COACH!!!!

And I got to go down on the court at the end of the game to get a shoe! I have Crystal's size 13 adidas with pink laces from the Breast Health Awareness game!!

I finally got a game worn shoe, I can die happy..................

I helped with the "Swiss Families for Robinson" sign. A few us were subbed off the bench when a family had to leave due to illness. ;)

I'm not a regular in section 103, but it appeared that signs and coordination were the brainchild of one woman, a regular. :)

That was a great game to be at. :D GO MONARCHS!
