Offense (Scoring & Passing)
Has never developed a sophisticated game on this end of the floor. Does the most damage as a garbageman. Uses his athleticism and leaping ability to finish strong around the hoop when set up by teammates. Frequent alley oop target, and runs the floor easily for slam dunk finishes. Mechanical post game featuring an awkward turnaround and a half hook, but has stretches where he gets hot and can be potent. Has a facing jumper as well that is not pretty but will occassionally go in. Has often been accused of not knowing his limitations on this side of the ball, and forcing too many low percentage shots, whether he is hot or not. With a prior reputation as a blackhole surprised by showing himself a capable passer from the high post last season.

Defense & Rebounding
Both areas of specialty for Dalembert. Uses his great length to be one of the top shotblockers in the NBA. Very athletic for a center and able to guard guys away from the rim. Can sometimes be overpowered by the strongest centers, but mobility allows him to guard many PFs. Is often accused of not being a smart defender, gambling and picking up numerous goaltends along with his blocks, but was quite effective last year as a man defender against some of the league's best offensive bigs. Always amongst the league's best per minute rebounders, and can get in a rhythm on the glass and have some huge boarding games. Uses athleticism to pound the offensive glass and finish inside, but strong on both ends.

Intangibles
Generally laid back, and a good guy who won the NBA Citizenship Award in 2010 for his charitable efforts for his native Haiti after the devastating earthquake there in January 2010. And yet rarely seems entirely happy with his role, and is always seeking more offensive opportunties. Very durable player who was slowed by injury for the first time in years at the beginning of last season.
