Liking someone a few years ago, doesn't mean that he's automatically the best one for the job currently, without even searching to see who else is out there. Unless they already did that? Which I doubt

Ok here is what would make me happy:

1) hire an assistant GM that can largely oversee the draft and scouting. A new school guy. Obviously Scott will have final say on the draft but someone who can provide an analytical approach to game

2) I’m ok if Doug is given strong consideration for the job (even a leg up) but imo the best course of action is to consider interviewing other candidates

3) Doug or new coach gets to hire a high dollar assistant, a defensive coordinator if you will

He's got to replace himself (as a bench coach) and Loucks, and I won't be surprised if more than a few current assistants including Triano are also out the door. It's going to be a huge part of the offseason in addition to player movement.

depends who can better control Vivek. That LaVine trade was so bad even Monte didn’t want to do it. If Perry can tell Vivek to go sit in a corner we will all be better off.

Monte was a dead man walking. I’m sure he knew it. Doug an interim HC. Mike Brown fired mid season. Fox traded, Sabonis and Deebo unhappy and blown out in the playin game. What a franchise. Hopefully the new guy will be a positive change going forward. Wait until next year Kingsfans!!

I think you have to move DDR for a starting PG or LaRavia's replacement and sell Monk to come off the bench or move him to restore balance to the roster.

If you can come up with a scheme that allows both Zach and Domas to be effective on offense we could at least compete for the last 4 playoff spots.

And if we are in play-in position or worse at the deadline you trade Domas for draft capital and Zach at the start of the following season when he's expiring (unless he plans on exercising his player option?)

He’s tradeable but we’re looking at cap filler and two seconds

I was think Dallas for Gafford but they prioritize defense and length so he doesn’t fit there
