The sacramento Kings look forward to a brand new season. After being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs last year, the Kings added a some new players including Bonzi Wells, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, and Ron Artest. Each of these players are talented and should help this team succeed in the long run while trying to make it to the playoffs. This year the Kings focus on areas where they struggled last year like defense and rebounding. The Kings may add a few more personals in the future but GM Geoff Petrie said that he would like to work with this lineup first. He was also asked by the media on what this team’s expectations are and said, “this year we are a much different team than the past few years... Obvously we don’t have a player like Chris anymore who had a major role in the successs of the Kings passing system. But we do have new players like Shareef and Bonzi who are known for their rebounding and energy so we will try and build along that.” Mike Bibby has also stated to many sources that he will step up and be the leader of this team since he has had the longest venture with the Kings. Mike Bibby said, “I’m going to do what ever it takes to get this team to the playoffs, I think we have enough talent to that. We just have to work hard on defense and communicate. I know Petrie brought some defensive minded players on the roster and hopefully they will contribute and inspire the team to play better defense than we played last year.” The Kings may not be the same team that almost beat the Lakers in the western conference playoffs but should be a team that will make some noise in the Pacific division. This team will win 50 or more games ff this they maintain a healthy roster for most of the season.

Okay, I'm just a little confused, I guess...

What exactly are you intending to do with this thread?

I know Bballkingsrock had a dynasty team last year but he had people on the board create players and he used them.

Artest Debut A Success

Sacramento Boxscore | Houston Boxscore

HOUSTON, Tex., Jan. 29 (Ticker) The Kings played their first game on Tuesday night at Houston against the Rockets. The Rockets lost Yao Ming in a injury in practice and was unavailable to play. The Kings came out strong in the first quarter taking a early lead but then the Rockets came back and held the Kings to only 16 points in the second quarter. The Kings pretty much cruised through the second half and were able to win the game 98-90. Tracy McGrady scored a team high 30 points for the Rockets and Mike Bibby led the Kings in scoring with 26. Ron Artest had a outstanding debut with 23 points and also spoke to the media about his first game as a King. He said "It was fun out there playing with Bibby and Miller, It's still going to take a while until I get used to this offense but I enjoy playing here and the fans are great." The Hornets look to host the Kings tommorow in Oklahoma City.

I'm just starting a dynasty with the Kings and play games like real life except I can make trades and moves and act as a GM. People can view them and add comments if they feel like after game recaps and trades.

Dynasty Stories are what they're called. They're plenty of them in different forums. More so on gaming forums of course.

But SK23, did you custom sliders for this?

Okay, this isn't really appropriate for our forum. Since there are any number of gaming forums out there devoted to this kind of thing, I'd suggest you post them there.

The difference between this and what Bballkingsrock has proposed is pretty basic. Yours, SK23, doesn't involve any kind of Kingsfans.com member interaction.

Bballkingrock's Dynasty, however, features players created by our members. Bball plays the games and the members here provide the off-court interactions, etc.

I'm closing this thread.
