It appears Dallas is also getting the Lakers treatment. We know it's real. We know these reffing "errors" are not errors. We know it's intentional. We know the League wants certain teams in the playoffs for ratings, etc. This was virtually a must win for the Mavs. And they got it - with obvious help.

The transition at 0:35 to 0:42 where he's talking about complaining too much about the refs and then shifts to "they turned the physicality up in the second half, give them credit" etc... is a pretty clear dog whistle to me that Mike knows what's up with the rigged reffing. I mean, you could see it happen in real time if you were paying attention. Then the refs carried it home. They let Luka have a fit, get refocused and the Kings got ZERO points on T's in the process.

No but the Kings do look tired. Shots are hitting the front rim etc. I hope guys get the next two games off let the rest and start ramping it up next week with the game plan for whomever we are playing.

Nah. Desperate vs. not-desperate implies that the Mavs brought more energy. Didn't see that. Kings out rebounded the Mavs and absolutely crushed the offensive glass. Also played good defense. Kings just missed a LOT of good looks AND Kyrie went absolutely nuts. Scoring 18 (I think) in the 4th is badass enough. But those 18 included shots against defense that couldn't have been better.

Kings bring that kind of effort and defense against against the Mavs or most anyone else in the playoffs and I like their chances.
