This is from "Associated Content", not the Associated Press. It's basically some random guy doing a game-by-game prediction. For every team in the NBA. How bored was he, exactly?

The qualifications to write for associated content is to basically show you can write a high school level essay about whatever it is you want to write about. So yes, I could submit an essay or story on cooking lasagna, and follow it up with a piece on the international space station, and it would probably get published. They publish anything from just about anyone.

I think I'll ask him if he could write play-by-play predictions within each game as well. Then he could add up his predicted stats.

Bill Simmons has the Kings winning 22 games. I don't know what these people are smoking. We have the reigning ROY coming off a historic season, we added two shotblockers and a legitimate low post scorer, and we didn't lose anyone but Spencer Hawes, the most inconsistent member of the team last year. And somehow, we're going to be worse???
