Ruthie's team lost 51-87 and 52-101 in the Fresno Pacific Tournament this last weekend. I bet Ruthie was dying to lace-em-up and hit the hardwood herself. The story from the Sac Bee:

Ruthie Update Part Deux

Thought I would chime in on a Ruthie Update .​

Miss Ruthie is on game 5 of a 8 game road trip. ​

Who in the hell put this schedule for William Jessup??? ​

Game #4 Northwestern Christian College, Eugene Oregon.
The Lady Warriors put up a fairly good fight but came up short 77-61. Well it certainly is better than losing 101-52.

So now they have to drive down to Washington to play at College Park.
Or is it up???
Oh hell I don't know these things.

What is important is:

After 5 tries The Divine Miss Ruthie Bolton Got her first win as a college Coach.

WHOOHOOO!!!!!!! ​

Miss Ruthie went up to Walla Walla College and opened up a big can of Whip ***. 77-47. My goodness they were due to have a big night.

So now Lady Divine is 1-4. ​

I hope the good folks in Rocklin have a private jet cause this schedule is just triffling.

December 17th can't come soon enough for the Lady Warriors.

Thanks for your update Luv13Fan...!! Congratulations to coach Bolton for her first W.

But I'm with you, what on earth is up with that schedule, I thought the WNBA schedulers get malicious but that's a wicked way to open the season, unless you look at it from the glass half full approach and say its a great character and team building experience for your squad to be on the road like that early - and I'd haveta think that they'll get more home dates on the tail end of the schedule.

I'd have to think that the schedule is a result of the move of the college from San Jose to Rocklin. They probably don't even have a gym with two dressing rooms.

Next year, though, I'm sure they will have a better schedule!

Congrats to Ruthie on her victory. I'm sure the players are pretty excited, too.
