I Guess Age Is Nuthin But A Number Because The Monarchs Have Re-Signed Ruthie Bolton today.


Quik question, the M's selected Chelsea Newton in the draft, so does that not mean that she's on the team? She still has to fight for a spot on the roster? Thanx


Another quik question, am I the only 1 who thinks that Chelsea Newton and DeMya walker kinda look alike, back when DWalk was in Portland?hahaha look @ the hair and the head band and the lips. Hmm or maybe it is just me

Thank you!! Some of my faith in G Whiz has been restored. I am happy that Ruthie will retire as a Monarch. She worked hard in helping to establish the WNBA. She was the Monarchs 1st "core" player. She has always made herself available to the community (especially the kids) on behalf of the Monarch organization. There was a time that Ruthie was the Monarchs.

Ruthie Bolton deserved this and so did Sacramento. They will now be able to see their first star retire as a Sacramento Monarch. I am pleased!!!

Well, it's good news because it means she's in camp, but there are 19 names on the roster and only 11 spots plus the IR. I have every faith that Ruthie will make this team, but I'll breathe easier when the final roster is announced next month.

Couldn't agree more. Yo might just be the heart of the organization, but Ruthie is definetly still its soul. Besides, it just wouldn't be the same without her...or her family. I always get a kick out of it when her family comes to visit and she litterally has her own cheering section
