There is talk that the Sacramento Kings are interested in trading Kenny Thomas for New Orleans Hornets center Emeka Okafor.
The trade would make perfect sense for the Hornets, who would love to dump some salary. Thomas is in the last year of a deal and will make $8.7 million this year.
The real question for Sacramento is if they view Okafor as a long-term solution as a center. He has five years and some $62 million left on his current deal.
Nothing is imminent and it’s all talk and speculation at this point.
