Roy Rogers

Entity

Hall of Famer
Rumored to be talking with the Detroit Big man coach Roy Rogers. He turned down offer last year with the blazers for the same position. Oddly enough the last NBA team that Rogers played for was the Kings. Kings placed on waivers and he retired.

****er! He and Antonio McDyess combined to knock out the best Fran Dunphy Penn team of that era in OT in the first round of the '95 NCAA's (it was their NBA frontcourt vs. our NBA backcourt of Matt Maloney and current Penn coach Jerome Allen).

I guess I will forgive him if he turns out to be any good, but this is one of those gotta trust the head coach things. Obviously not a glamour name like Ewing, and he was a low skill pure shotblocking/defensive specialist in his playing days. He's not going to teach Boogie any post moves. But maybe he excels at teaching defensive positioning, dunno.

Cousins just needs to learn patience, and pick his spots better IMO. I'm sure there's a couple moves he can learn, but
i feel like he has plenty in his arenal already.

...the cowboy? And I thought the Harlem Globetrotters thing was weird.
