Just thought this was kind of funny. I don't know if you have to register to hear it but I just found Artest to be pretty funny when talking about Brad Millers taunting of the Grizzly bench...

Some other quotes...

""My recruit (Brian Cardinal) kept smacking my thumb, and it kind of got me (ticked) off," said Miller, whose streak began just after he received a technical foul for elbowing Cardinal. "It just kind of brought out a different aspect of me." -Brad Miller

"He carried us with his energy," said Artest, who had 18 points on 8-for-21 shooting. "He was fired up. That's what's great about him. He's always fired up. He's not scared of nobody." -Ron Artest

"It was great to get back, but I would rather get the win," said Jackson, who was given a loud standing ovation when he first entered the game late in the first quarter. "I wanted to come out and play well and make the game interesting."
-Bobby J

"I was ticked off to be sitting on the bench in the first half, but that is the coach's decision. When I get on the floor, I try to make things happen." -Bobby J

"Before the tip, Jackson teased his former coach, Rick Adelman, that he wanted to hitch a ride back with the club to Sacramento after the teams meet again Feb. 15 in Memphis, before the All-Star break, to which Adelman responded, as he later recounted, "I told him, 'We'll see how you do tonight." Sac-Bee

"Obviously they never watched Purdue basketball," Miller cracked. "Cardinal is the best flopper, and Shane Battier as well. We know (Battier) at Duke. He was just more publicly (recognized) than Cardinal, but he's definitely right up there."
-Brad Miller

Yeah, they were talking about this very thing on The Rise Guys this morning .....

Brad was pretty pi$$ed ..... he's lucky he didn't get tossed-out.

King's most likely, would not have won had he been ejected.

Legalize Taunting - NBA would be a combo of the NHL and ULTIMATE FIGHTING .... when would there be time to PLAY SOME BALL !!!

Remember - never take anything seriously that is coming from Ron Artest.

if You follow that - it is all good

There's some of that Adelman humor.

--- Memo to MF: Why do you continue to not start B-Jax!? Maybe it's that same coaching wizardry that prompted you to Kick Bonzi off the team for the playoffs last year. Man, outside of hiring good defensive minded Assistant coaches........YOU BITE!

According to reports/announcers, Chucky's more of a "play-maker". I've never seen or heard of him as that though.

I'm digging the Artest/Brad stuff. :)

I wouldn't say Chucky Atkins is as much of a playmaker as he is a threebricker.

Indeed.

He's a streaky shooter, when he gets going he gets very hot. As shown at Detroit and Miami earlier this year.

i just got my Artest road jersey. If some of you remember my sig. for a long time was " I can't wait until the day and can buy a Kings road jersey with the name Artest on the back." well it finally came and seems like only yesterday i was being told to give it up it will never happen.

I am still saving my money for the shirt that will say KINGS: NBA-Champions. I lot of people say it will never happen but I've got my fingers crossed.
