I have a hard time believing this one. Sura has played well for the Rockets and is a nice backcourt mate for both Wesley and newly drafted Luther Head as he can take on most of the playmaking duties while guarding SGs.
That's not to mention having to take on Ruben Patterson.
Considering that I doubt Portland had any plans to re-sign Stoudamire, this would seem to be a steal for Portland. They'd pick up two usable veterans while giving up a PG you weren't going to keep and a problem child you've been trying to unload all summer.
I'd be shocked if this rumor had any legs.
