I hate the single band games but this one is a big coup for a band that doesn't even sell on iTunes. As long as they don't do some exclusivity with Wal Mart like they did with the AC/DC game I'll buy it day one.
Spike, you're right... but as a Rock Band fan this is still a huge coup for winning the battle of name recognition for what is widely considered to be the superior product.
It remains to be seen whether they'll be changing the game play up any from the other games, supposedly there is more too it than just the standard Rock Band game so that you trace the careers of the Beatles but hopefully it isn't as lame as the Aerosmith GH game was on that point.
I was hoping they might introduce harmonized vocals.
If they have a sweet semi-hollowbody style Rickenbacker guitar I am going to have to buy yet another plastic guitar and push my collection to 6. I'm pretty sure my wife would consider that an illness.

Rock Band and GH are going way too far with these games. I don't see a need for all these single band games being released, they should just be released as DLC.
But FTR, GH is working on a Greatest Hits game that will include the best songs from the GH titles up until Legends of Rock. This one I may pick up since GH3 was the only one on the PS3, and I missed out on Free Bird in GH2

The Beatles would never release a few songs as DLC. I agree when its Metallica, Aerosmith and AC/DC though.
