Return of the King (TD)

We're getting the band together? TD competes and he is definitely not afraid to shoot.

Quite a surprise (dont know how to delete my thread...was a few seconds late). Not sure what role he might have om the team and if its connected with Monk's injury. Not really the ball handler we should be looking for if the Fultz experiment failed.

Without knowing much about the G League Mason Jones has the same numbers with TD multiplied by 2 and on a much more competitive team (maybe best in the league?) and is also a ball handler (that TD isnt exactly). Dont really know the rules but Kings should try them both before the play in too see who fits better. If the Suns lose tonight it could be easier (stress free) though we will still be chasing for the 9th place to have home court advantage in the 9-10 match.

Does he still have the same athleticism and explosiveness? He had a major injury IIRC. His basketball IQ is pretty poor so if his athleticism has declined it’s not likely he can stay on a roster.

I’m guessing Monk could be missing the play in again.

Welcome back.

Feast or Famine. TD is good feast or famine though. He’ll let you know in the first 60 seconds if he should keep playing or not.

Has to be, otherwise this makes no sense. It could also just be a friend and favor thing.

I recall hearing that Monte apologized to him, for not re-signing him after the playoff season. Never that it would happen at this point, but they are trying to make amends by giving him another chance after the injury

A ha. Maybe that was a bone of contention with the GM crew and now Monte is the true lead voice? My guess would be that TD is a known commodity and could potentially replace some depth if Monk is indeed out. Is he even eligible to play if the Kings make the playoffs? There is a cut off I think.

Not sure, but I recall hearing that both Wes and Monte were there when the apology was given. I think they ran into him in Vegas during the summer league, season before last. I'm sure they regretted choosing Duarte over him. I know I did.
