Report: Lakers to sign former No. 2 pick to 10-day deal

Former No. 2 overall pick Derrick Williams will join the Los Angeles Lakers on a 10-day contract, according to report by Yahoo Sports. Williams, who went unsigned after finishing last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, played for Tianjin of the Chinese Basketball Association this season. Williams, who has career averages of 8.9 points and 4 rebounds, figures to give the Lakers depth while forward Brandon Ingram recovers from a groin injury.
