Report: Artest planned to request trade if he went to Kings

If Artest planned to ask us for a trade once he got here, it only shows how he is an Artest centered universe. I dont think the Kings should even have to hear what he says. If the Kings Organization is so classy, where is the class when it needs to be shown the most.

Perhaps if it was handled in a better manner(the Maloofs should never have went on ESPN, thats where the trouble started) we would in a better situation, not one where we are practically forced to trade peja. You can't balme the guy if he plays even more lackluster than he is currently(possible?)

This whole thing has been bungled and bungled badly and I do not think it was because Petrie doesn't know how to do these things. I have to believe, especially since the Maloofs were all over the place publicly this afternoon, that - once again - they did an end run around him, making his job much more difficult.

This whole thing reminds of the Phil Jackson fiasco. For all the garbage the Maloofs spew about how wonderful the fans are, they certainly don't seem to consider the effects on the fan base. Phil Jackson said nasty things about Sacramento, and yet they want to bring him here. Same with Shaq. Now they want to bring Artest here. I'm not impressed.

Does it look like they are making the playoffs? Since Cuban has come aboard, they've done nothing but improve.
