You mean the retro home white or retro road powder blue? I recall them wearing a strange glossy version of the blue at least once or twice every season for the past few years. Maybe less since they went to the awful glossy gold. It seems like just so much marketing overkill at some point.

they did wear the white retro home jerseys too for one of the retro nights. so far, we've worn the rochester royals, and the white and blue retro cursive kings. but these ones are new. the blue trim on the outside was never there before and the old school adidas logo makes that probably one of the sickest jerseys ive ever seen. right behind the checkered 2 tone away jerseys. i would love to see the kings wear those

So apparently the new one at Kings store is a replica of this original Kings home jersey. I already have #24 in glorious powder blue purchased in 1988 - still in excellent condition - maybe I shell out $75 for the retro white one. I think I paid about $40 back in the day.

See back in 1988 before I was a Kings fan I was a Laker fan :( Took a couple eyars of the Kings being here for it to catch on :(

Haha. "I saw LA win a title in 88, but I wish I could have seen Bill Russell steal Sacto's money." :( I just peep'd an old game from the Garg vault yesterday (LA @ Sac) from the ARCO 1 days, aamof. Theus and Smith. Magic hit an open 3 w/ 29 secs left in OT ftw.

I have Pervis Ellison's game-worn rookie home jersey hanging in my basement. Before I get ripped to shreds (as I can certainly understand most Kings fans weren't happy with how Pervis turned out for the Kings), I will point out that I'm a HUGE Louisville Cardinals fan (a huge fan of Cisco), and knew Pervis when he was at the Ville. His poor knee (thanks Jay Burson of Ohio State for ruining his knee when you fell on it during a game) kept him from achieving more success. I only wish his 2 years of averaging 20/10 would have been with the Kings. The most improved player award was nice, but he only got it b/c of the horrible start he had with the Kings.

The jersey is awesome and hanging in a display case. I'm debating about whether to wear it when I go to the Pacers/Kings game when they play here in January.

Hey Gargy...what's it like to win an NBA Championship? I sure wish I knew. Oh well...I bet that LA@Sac game you pulled out of the vault was loud, nonetheless, right? Arco 1 was the loudest barn this side of Hee Haw. lol

Had one to what...burn??:D 'Out of Service' Pervis was one of the worst moves in the history of this franchise...a pick made by none other than French Lick's own, Jerry Reynolds.

Name a player who looked better in that year. There was only one and that was Sean Elliot. Only Sean's career proved he was better as people were concerned about his knee which amazingly never was an issue in a long career.

Um...there were quite a few that had far better careers, and were smarter picks at #1 than Pervis, and yes, I wanted Elliott, too. Reynolds could have drafted Glen Rice or Elliott, both had far better years that year, and were eons ahead of him by the end of their respective careers. That draft actually was pretty decent, if you consider Rice, Elliott, JR Reid, Shawn Kemp(pre-Goodyear Kemp years), Vlade, Tim Hardaway, and Cliff Robinson all came from that one.
