can we not make 100 threads this time fellas.

bad job on BOARDS, we played like crap the last 5 minutes.

Well I have been thinking about this and I have no answer for it. This has been a weakness for the Kings for a while now and I am not sure if its the system, or the players.

I would be curious to see how Princeton did in rebounds during Pete's days there

Trade for Artest!

I don't care if we will be -20 in point after that.

That will help us this year when he is out for the season.

I would entertain that trade in the offseason but he brings a ton of bagage

we had awesome mentality last week. wtf happened this week. so much heart last week...so little this week :(. sports can be so frustrating at times.

Don't forget the coaches role in this. They have been rebounding like this for years and with different players I might add. It just doesn't seem to be a big priority with RA. If Pop were coach he would bench some of our players for their poor effort on the boards, or at the very least get in their grill. Of course the players are the ones who are mostly responsible, but IMHO the coach also has a share of the blame when this same weakness continues year after year. Most of the time only a couple of players are even going after the board, if it's not the coaches responsibility to correct this, then who?

You just helped my decision to go to sleep much easier :) I think Danny Fortson is our missing piece. I would love to have him on our team.

KP im not gonna give up man, i KNOW next year we can be a betta team with artest! but everyone in here his lookin at his past mistakes. im gonna laugh at everyone of you guys when he comes back next season and doesn't mess up badly. he will make the all star team and possibly take his team to the playoffs(depending where hes at). REMEMBER WHO SAID IT FIRST!

The goal here isn't making the play offs

HUH? i think you misinterpreted. "(DEPENDING ON WHAT TEAM HES ON)" theres no guarantee hes gonna be on kings. now u get it?

We lost because the Sonics scored more points. It happens all the time. We have to do something about it!!!

SK24 - Ron Artest is not going to become a King.

And for the record, why shouldn't people look at his past mistakes? Some people sure have fun bringing up all Webber's past discretions which, for the record, are not rooted in anger and rage as Artest's are. He's a loose cannon. It would be a huge liability for a team to even consider hiring him. The insurance against him doing something to a fan, an official, a player on an opposing team, etc. would be cost prohibitive in and of itself.

I love Artest's passion for the game. That's the same passion sometime drive him out of control. I blame Ben Wallace and those Pistons fans more than anything for that incidient.

Please fellow Kings fans don't bash Artest, please. Same as you don't want to see Webb being bashed.

Oh please. You're not seriously comparing Webber and Artest, are you?

Artest's passion for the game has included unprovoked attacks on TV monitors. Or was that the monitor's fault? Did it say something bad to Artest?

He's a nut case. His violence is escalating. Saying his passion sometimes drives him out of control is like trying to make excuses for a man who beats his wife and then says she drove him to it.

Go ahead and blame Ben Wallace and the Pistons fans, but they didn't yank Artest off the table and drag him into the stands. He did that all on his own.

yeah i hate how people says Ron Artest just needs angermangament....HA...he's way past anger management classes...my guess is that Rons parents missed that red flag growing up

anger management HA

Gregg Popovich needs anger management
Jerry Sloan needs anger management
Rasheed Wallace needs anger management
Ron Artest is just crazy

Exactly! Do we really want a head case on our beloved Kings? I for one don't.

Rebounds, once again. The Kings's achilles heel, as we all know.

Both Evans and Collison each had more offensive rebounds than the entire KINGS TEAM.
